Prior to his appointment at Vanity Fair, Mr. Menicheschi was President of WWDMediaWorldwide. From 2001 to 2006, he oversaw the sales, marketing, and business operations of Women’s Wear Daily, Fairchild Publications’s flagship brand, as well as WWD.com, DNR, and Footwear News.  

Before joining Fairchild, Mr. Menicheschi was President of IAM.COM, a talent search Web site serving the entertainment industry. He has held a variety of positions at Condé Nast, including Associate Publisher of Vogue (1994–1999), Executive Editor of Vogue (1992–1994), and from 1986 to 1990, he developed retail and advertising programs at GQ and edited the retail trade publication GQ News. In addition, Mr. Menicheschi was Vice President, Marketing at Biderman Industries from 1990 to 1992, where he oversaw the successful relaunch of the Arrow shirt brand. 

Mr. Menicheschi graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and lives in New York.
