Jay Fielden brings a wealth of experience to his new position as founding
editor of Men's Vogue. Previously, as Arts Editor of Vogue, he was responsible
for overseeing the magazine's coverage of food, art and architecture,
politics, design, and the world of book publishing.
His writers included food critic Jeffrey Steingarten, political correspondent
Julia Reed, arts reporter Dodie Kazanjian, writer-at-large Robert Sullivan,
and Hamish Bowles. Fielden has also edited books: Grace: Thirty Years
at Vogue, Grace Coddington's memoir of fashion and photography; and
The Snippy World of New Yorker Fashion Artist Michael Roberts.
Fielden came to Vogue in 2000, after eight years at The New Yorker. During
that time, he edited fiction, Talk of the Town stories, and cultural pieces.
