Tom Bair was named Vice President and Publisher of Golf Digest in June 2004. He joined the company as Associate Publisher in November 2001.

Under Mr. Bair's leadership, Golf Digest published its two largest issues in its 55-year history. The June 2005 issue had 340 total pages and 178.12 ad pages, surpassing the April 2005 and June 1999 editions, which both totaled 304 pages.

Mr. Bair previously served as Associate Publisher of Men's Health magazine overseeing the sales force, directing sales strategies and developing marketing platforms for their advertising partners. He helped launch Men's Health in 1992 and held several key positions at the magazine, including Northwest Sales Manager, New England Manager and Ad Director.

Prior to Men's Health, Mr. Bair was the Sports Group Ad Director at Fairchild Publications, managing the selling for three trade journals. From 1988-1990, Bair was Western Manager of Field & Stream magazine.

Mr. Bair earned a B.A. from Pennsylvania State University and currently lives in Centerport, New York with his wife and daughter.
