Antonia van der Meer is the editor-in-chief of Modern Bride, Elegant Bride and Your Prom magazines, and the author of twelve books and hundreds of magazine articles. She joined Modern Bride as editor-in-chief in January 2001.  A graduate of Brown University and former editor at Seventeen, van der Meer has also been a contributing editor at YM, Brides and at Baby Talk magazine.  She was also a contributing editor at Bottom Line and a columnist for Sesame Street Parents. 

In the bridal field, her book credits include, The Modern Bride Survival Guide, The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Creative Weddings and Bride’s New Ways to Wed.  She was also a writer/researcher for The Bride , by Barbara Tober and she contributed to Bride’s All New Book of Etiquette.

Her articles have appeared in Brides, Bridal Guide, Cosmopolitan, Child, Expecting, Good Housekeeping, McCall’s, Parents, Parenting, Redbook, Reader’s Digest, Sesame Street Baby, Sesame Street Parents, Working Mother, and many more.
